What I learned about the US by going to India

In India the traffic on the roads is chaotic.  There are cars, trucks, pedestrian, bicycles, motor cycles, and yes, cows, and even ox pulls carts.  And horns blowing constantly.  And, by the way, they drive on the opposite side of the road.  Thank goodness, I never drove anywhere.  The fastest anybody goes is about 30-35.  It’s a good things, because otherwise they would kill each other.  There are really no rules of the road.  As a courtesy to me my driver would stop at stop signs and red lights, but no one else did.  In the US, we can safely travel down an interstate at 70 miles per hour because in the US most drivers basically follow the rules, written and not written, so we don’t kill each other.
